*IT IS NOT POSSIBLE*

Reference: *Acts 2:24*
*Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it*

Right from Adam to John the Baptist, death dominated humanity and held him in perpetual bondage and pain. The greatest fear then was the fear of death. Many including nobles, the high, mighty and the low went to any length, paid any price to avert, postpone , ‘re-schedule’ or simply be freed from their appointment with death. Yet they all capitulated.

‘Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.’   Heb. 2:14-15

The reason why Divinity (Jesus Christ) took on humanity (flesh and blood) was to use the occasion of His death to destroy the one who held the power of death (the devil) and deliver all those who believe in Him from the fear of death.

When Paul confronted ‘death’, he boldly declared,  ‘For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.’ PHIL. 1:21

He never considered death a loss, but rather a gain. That should be the attitude of every born again believer.

For in Christ, there are certain things that are just, ‘not possible.’ It’s not possible for poverty to hold a blood bought believer; not possible for a Christian to be dominated by the spirit of fear; neither is it possible for a believer to capitulate to failure and discouragement. It is just not possible to be continually sick, weak and defeated. It is simply not possible for one to be held captive by the fear of death. Just not possible.

We are getting close to the end of the year, and already many are running helter-skelter, renewing covenants with demonic agents, entering into new ones, seeking protection from every imaginable source; all in a bid to avert death.
Be assured, child of God that as far as you, your family, friends and members of your church are concerned, no weapon of the enemy shall prevail in the mighty name of Jesus!. We shall live to see many years of good health, strength, success and abundant life in Him. Shalom.

*Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Thursday, 6thJune, 2019 *TOPIC: TAKING IT BY FORCE* *Reference*:Mathew 11:22 "...And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force..." Life, it must be understood, does not give you what you beg for, but rather what you fight for. George Foreman, the renown boxer, asserted that ‘champions are not made in the ring, they are only recognized.’ In Acts 12, we read the account of how Herod decided to deal ruthlessly with the Church. He initially cut off the head of James with the sword, and when he saw that it pleased the Jews ...he proceeded further to take Peter also...and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.’ Vs.3-4 When James was taken by Herod, the Church had hoped that God would intervene and save him. It never happened and he ended up dead. Lesson well learnt, they
