*ALL NATIONS CHRISTIAN CENTER* RIGHT WORD: REV. RAMSON A. DARTEH Saturday, 28th December 2019 ===================== #126: Topic: ‘Who Am I, O Lord? ====================== Reference: 2 Samuel 7:18 ‘Then went king David in, and sat before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God ? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?’ King David was nearing the end of his reign, and the Lord sent Prophet Nathan to him with words of comfort and assurance concerning his son Solomon, and the future. ‘But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.’ 2 Samuel 8:15-17 David was so overwhelmed by God’s mercies and goodness towards him; that he went  in, sat before the Lord and asked Him a simple question, ‘...

*Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Thursday, 13thJune, 2019 *HONORING THE MEMORY OF A MATRIARCH* "...And Sarah died in Kirjath-arba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her..." GENESIS 23:3 Today’s write up will depart slightly from my normal messages of exhortation. For it is dedicated to honoring the memory of my mother, Mad. Mary Ama Ofosuaa, whose funeral rites holds over this weekend. Death, as we are all aware, is a debt we owe. The late musical icon, Michael Jackson put it this way, "we start dying the moment we are born". Despite the certainty of death, it is often hard to take when it hits so close to home. You looked so strong, vibrant and so full of life. In your ninety years sojourn on earth, l don’t recall ever visiting you at the hospital. At a point in time, l had this misguided belief that you would always be there! It is often said that "...the passing away of an o...

*Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Thursday, 6thJune, 2019 *TOPIC: TAKING IT BY FORCE* *Reference*:Mathew 11:22 "...And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force..." Life, it must be understood, does not give you what you beg for, but rather what you fight for. George Foreman, the renown boxer, asserted that ‘champions are not made in the ring, they are only recognized.’ In Acts 12, we read the account of how Herod decided to deal ruthlessly with the Church. He initially cut off the head of James with the sword, and when he saw that it pleased the Jews ...he proceeded further to take Peter also...and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.’ Vs.3-4 When James was taken by Herod, the Church had hoped that God would intervene and save him. It never happened and he ended up dead. Lesson well learnt, they...

Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh Saturday, 24th November 2018 GUARDING A CONCRETE SLAB Reference:1 Timothy 4:7 ‘But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness’ The story is told of an army general, who observed a strange phenomenon when he took command of a military unit. There was this large concrete slab, which was regularly guided by four armed men. After several enquiries failed to offer any tangible reason for this practice; which  had gone on for nearly eighty years, he decided to investigate it. At the ilibrary, he came across a very interesting ‘revelation’ from an old manuscript. This particular slab, in the process of it being laid for an event; was constantly being marred by wild animals. This went on for a while till four armed guards were dispatched to protect it for three weeks, to enable it solidify. Unfortunately, the General who commissioned the project was transferred before the three weeks duration. ...

*Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Saturday, 1 June, 2019 *TOPIC: THE UNCHANGING CHANGER* *Reference*: Luke 7:12-13 ‘Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: ...And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not..." Life can seem cruel and unfair at times: as in the case of this widow of Nain. Her tears for her late husband had hardly dried, when she also lost her only son. The rumor mill went into a frenzy. She was accused of practicing witchcraft..."she is a witch, who after killing her husband, has also killed her son". They said.  Jesus Christ however empathized with her situation. . He had compassion on her, and intervened at the right time. He delivered her son from death. "... And he came and touched the bier:..And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he d...

Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Thursday , 30th May, 2019 *TOPIC: STAY CONNECTED* *’Reference*:John 15:4 ‘Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.’ It is inconceivable for a branch to bear fruit by itself, except it is connected to the vine. Here, Jesus paffirms that we can never bear much fruit, nor amount to anything, except we stay connected to Him. To be disconnected from one’s source therefore, is to be cut off from one’s resources. Life is all about connections. For anytime God is about to lift one up, He either connects him to someone already up there, or one on his way up. For what would have been the fate of Joseph without Pharaoh’s cup bearer. Likewise, Moses would have ended up as meat for the crocodiles in the Nile River, but for the intervention of Pharaoh’s daughter. David owed his life and destiny to his connection to Jonathan. However, Samson learnt...

*Right Word: By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Saturday, 25th May, 2019 TOPIC: *PRAYER CHANGES ALL THINGS* (1) *Reference*: Luke 18:1 ‘And he spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;’ Our Lord Jesus Christ here warns us about the danger of giving up on prayers. Sadly, we are living in times where all believers want are quick fixes, and hardly want to labour in prayers. Truth is that most  believers have little understanding or appreciation  of the power and efficacy of continuos and consistent prayers, and as such easily give up when they believe their prayers are not having the desired effect or impact. According to the late Myles Monroe, God committed dominion of the earth to man after creation. God could therefore intervene on issues on Earth  only when Man invites Him to do so. In order words, prayers are the only  license that authorizes God to intervene in human affairs. Hear our Lord Jesus Christ. ...
*Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh* Saturday, 8th December, 2018 ‘**TRIED BY THE WORD** Reference: Psalm 105:17 & 19 ‘He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: ....Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.’ Contrary to the often held belief, Joseph was not sent to Egypt by his brothers. Out of hatred and envy, they sold him off to the Ishmaelites, but they were just pawns in a grand Divine scheme to lift Joseph beyond his wildest dreams and expectations. It must also be understood that it is not every trial that is ‘satanically  or demonically’ engineered. Joseph’s word (prophecy) came to pass after ‘the Word of God’ had tried him. Job had the same conviction. ‘But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.’ Job:23:10 God never tries anyone, rather His word does. A student is not necessarily examined by his teacher, but rather by the curriculum he has studied. ...

Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh Saturday, 17th November 2018 *IT IS NOT POSSIBLE* Reference: *Acts 2:24* *Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it* Right from Adam to John the Baptist, death dominated humanity and held him in perpetual bondage and pain. The greatest fear then was the fear of death. Many including nobles, the high, mighty and the low went to any length, paid any price to avert, postpone , ‘re-schedule’ or simply be freed from their appointment with death. Yet they all capitulated. ‘Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.’   Heb. 2:14-15 The reason why Divinity (Jesus Christ) took on humanity (flesh and blood) was to u...

Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh RAISING A NEW FOUNDATION. Reference: Psalm 11:3 ‘If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?’ David, who as a shepherd, had risked his life to fight off lions and bears; over lambs; now blessed and lifted as a King, had murdered a faithful soldier of his, for the sake of his wife. ‘And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.’ 1 SAM, 17:34-25 Reminiscing over his action, he acknowledged that though he was a righteous man, his foundations were his undoing. Right from Abraham, his patriarch father, through Isaac and Jacob, they had always had a weakness for fair and beautiful women. No wonder, his righteousness could not deliver him from the ‘clutches’ of Beersheba, ...
Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh *NOT ACCOUNTED FOR* Saturday, 27th October 2018 Reference: John 6:8-10 ‘One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes. ...And Jesus said, Make the men sit down...So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. Jesus was ministering to a multitude in a wilderness. After three days, he realized that they were hungry and instructed the disciples to give them something to eat. The disciples considered this an incredulous request, since there were neither markets nor shopping malls in the wilderness to get the needed supplies. Besides, the money to pay for such an enterprise was simply not available. *Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. Vrs. 7 However Andrew chanced upon a lad - a young boy - with a lunch pack containing five pieces of bre...
