TOPIC: *PRAYER CHANGES ALL THINGS* (1)

*Reference*: Luke 18:1
‘And he spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;’

Our Lord Jesus Christ here warns us about the danger of giving up on prayers.
Sadly, we are living in times where all believers want are quick fixes, and hardly want to labour in prayers.

Truth is that most  believers have little understanding or appreciation  of the power and efficacy of continuos and consistent prayers, and as such easily give up when they believe their prayers are not having the desired effect or impact.
According to the late Myles Monroe, God committed dominion of the earth to man after creation. God could therefore intervene on issues on Earth  only when Man invites Him to do so. In order words, prayers are the only  license that authorizes God to intervene in human affairs.

Hear our Lord Jesus Christ.
‘Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, ......‘ Rev:3:20

As powerful as our Jesus Christ is, he will not force His way into our hearts, but will only do so when we grant Him access.

Reminds me so much of the relationship l had with my daughters whilst  they lived with me.. I virtually owned the house, yet that did not give me unfettered access into their rooms. At any point in time that  l needed to enter into their rooms, l had to knock, and wait till l am giving  permission to do so!

Prayer is therefore a believer’s invitation and permission, which he  grants God, for Him to intervene in his life or situation. It’s a lifestyle, not some kind of game, gimmick or lottery. It must be premised on the conviction that ‘no prayer, no breakfast.’

For till prayer becomes a lifestyle, nothing changes. We must always remember that ‘prayer changes all things.’ Shalom

Right word

Right Word By Rev. Ramson Asante Darteh RAISING A NEW FOUNDATION. Reference: Psalm 11:3 ‘If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?’ David, who as a shepherd, had risked his life to fight off lions and bears; over lambs; now blessed and lifted as a King, had murdered a faithful soldier of his, for the sake of his wife. ‘And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.’ 1 SAM, 17:34-25 Reminiscing over his action, he acknowledged that though he was a righteous man, his foundations were his undoing. Right from Abraham, his patriarch father, through Isaac and Jacob, they had always had a weakness for fair and beautiful women. No wonder, his righteousness could not deliver him from the ‘clutches’ of Beersheba, ...

DAY 3 OF 21 DAYS FASTING & PRAYERS PROGRAM

*ALL NATIONS CHRISTIAN CENTER* DAY 3 OF 21 DAYS FASTING & PRAYERS PROGRAM Wednesday, 8th January, 2020 ===================== Topic: The Deception of Success, Rev Ramson A. Darteh ====================== Reference:  Acts 13:1-2 ‘Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, ...and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.’ The five people mentioned above were successful as Prophets and Teachers. They were the leaders of the Antioch church which was doing very well. As a matter of fact, they raised such an exemplary bunch of believers that the people of the city called  them Christians- for the very first time in scriptures. ‘Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came ...
