Darteh ====================== Reference:  Isaiah 40:31 ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ Waiting on the Lord entails fasting, prayers and meditation on the Word. Waiting,  in reality ‘detoxifies’  us of carnality, and makes the strength of God available to us. It is said that ‘one cannot be God full till he or she is self empty.’ In the reference text above, Prophet Isaiah compares  the process the eagle goes through  to the experience anyone who waits on the Lord undergoes.
