Darteh ====================== Reference:  Isaiah 40:31 ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ Waiting on the Lord entails fasting, prayers and meditation on the Word. Waiting,  in reality ‘detoxifies’  us of carnality, and makes the strength of God available to us. It is said that ‘one cannot be God full till he or she is self empty.’ In the reference text above, Prophet Isaiah compares  the process the eagle goes through  to the experience anyone who waits on the Lord undergoes. Darteh ====================== Reference:  Acts 13:1-2 ‘Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, ...and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.’ The five people mentioned above were successful as Prophets and Teachers. They were the leaders of the Antioch church which was doing very well.
