Ramson Asante Darteh Saturday, 24th November 2018 GUARDING A CONCRETE SLAB Reference:1 Timothy 4:7 ‘But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness’ The story is told of an army general, who observed a strange phenomenon when he took command of a military unit. There was this large concrete slab, which was regularly guided by four armed men. After several enquiries failed to offer any tangible reason for this practice; which  had gone on for nearly eighty years, he decided to investigate it. At the ilibrary, he came across a very interesting ‘revelation’ from an old manuscript. This particular slab, in the process of it being laid for an event; was constantly being marred by wild animals. This went on for a while till four armed guards were dispatched to protect it for three weeks, to enable it solidify. Unfortunately, the General who commissioned the project was transferred before the three weeks duration. ...

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.’ It is inconceivable for a branch to bear fruit by itself, except it is connected to the vine. Here, Jesus paffirms that we can never bear much fruit, nor amount to anything, except we stay connected to Him. To be disconnected from one’s source therefore, is to be cut off from one’s resources. Life is all about connections. For anytime God is about to lift one up, He either connects him to someone already up there, or one on his way up. For what would have been the fate of Joseph without Pharaoh’s cup bearer. Likewise, Moses would have ended up as meat for the crocodiles in the Nile River, but for the intervention of Pharaoh’s daughter. David owed his life and destiny to his connection to Jonathan. Ramson Asante Darteh* Saturday, 25th May, 2019 TOPIC: *PRAYER CHANGES ALL THINGS* (1) *Reference*: Luke 18:1 ‘And he spake a parable unto them to this end , that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;’ Our Lord Jesus Christ here warns us about the danger of giving up on prayers. Sadly, we are living in times where all believers want are quick fixes, and hardly want to labour in prayers. Truth is that most  believers have little understanding or appreciation  of the power and efficacy of continuos and consistent prayers, and as such easily give up when they believe their prayers are not having the desired effect or impact. According to the late Myles Monroe, God committed dominion of the earth to man after creation. God could therefore intervene on issues on Earth  only when Man invites Him to do so. In order words, prayers are the only  license that authorizes God to intervene in human affairs. Hear our Lord Jesus Christ. ...
